Giving in-depth knowledge into the areas of mass communication and its’ media as well as the use of empirical social research methods. The department values practical implementation and therefore compulsory internships at broadcasting or marketing research companies, advertising or public relations agencies both in Germany and abroad are made a part of the curriculum.
