Optimal long-term Survival after Cancer (OPTILATER)
The joint project ‘Optimal long-term survival after cancer’, funded by the Federal Ministry of Health, aims to close gaps in knowledge about the care situation and derive recommendations for needs-based care concepts for cancer survivors. As part of our research, we are investigating needs and possible barriers to the utilisation of information and support services for long-term follow-up care. The objectives are the evidence-based development, piloting and implementation of a diversity- and culture-sensitive information and counselling service for cancer survivors and their relatives.
