The German School Barometer Pupils
The German School Barometer for Pupils surveys the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents at German schools.
With the help of a panel survey, pupils in two age groups (8 to 10 and 11 to 17 years) and their legal guardians are questioned on various topics. Among other things, data is collected on current psychological and academic well-being, the assessment of the quality of teaching and the quality of relationships with teachers and psychosocial support services inside and outside of school. The first results were published in autumn 2024. Annual surveys are planned.
The co-operation project of the Robert-Bosch-Stiftung is carried out together with the University Leipzig.
