Health of Music Students and Evaluation of Preventive and Health-Promoting Teaching Programmes (completed)

In a cooperation project with the Institute of Music Physiology and Musicians' Medicine (IMMM) at HMTMH, we are conducting a long-term study of the physical and mental health of music students as well as their interest in and utilisation of preventative and health-promoting teaching offers at HMTMH. Among other things, the focus here is on the associated communicative challenges. The panel design of the evaluation study allows us to make statements not only about trends in the health status of music students, but also about health developments and changes in preventive behaviour during the course of music studies. The aim of the project is to build on the findings to further develop the prevention-oriented services for music students at the HMTMH in order to provide sustainable support for various student groups and promote their preventative behaviour.
