Prevention Challenge of Type 2 Diabetes (completed)
Together with the Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA), as part of the National Education and Communication Strategy on Diabetes mellius, we are investigating which factors of diabetes prevention behaviour provide suitable starting points for the information and education strategy in different population groups. Based on a population survey of N = 6,022 people, the aim is to determine the subjective and objective knowledge about diabetes in the population, the prevailing attitudes and prevention behaviour. Based on these findings, communication goals and risk profiles for individual sub-target groups will be derived in close co-operation with the BZgA.
